I can't even fucking roleplay as any kind of character except a concerned mom or dad who is either polite or a sarcastic asshole/bitch who will still take on quests but not necessarily carries them out. The people are just as much idiots in Fallout 4 as they were in Fallout 3 even if Bethesda has now given a reason (a weak one) why there are no settlement alliances, and the number of raiders is still larger than all the common people combined. I never felt engaged in this game, I just wandered through a sandbox, killing raiders, mutants/ghouls, robots/synths here and there, it never felt like a place that is alive, I was never excited when I discovered a small town or outpost and be able to talk to people because I could not really ask them what was on my mind (unless I am obsessed about Shaun) or decline anything, and the people had little to nothing to tell. Fallout 4 looks better, and though people said its map was small it was still a lot bigger than Fallout 3's.īut when it comes to the gameplay or the content of the game it is equal and even lesser than its predecessor.
